Good signing. Hopefully bring back the good old days when we have outstanding wingers like Barnes and McManaman flying on the flank. Hodgson focus on signing more British players into the squad where in the past the team consist of British talent. He is getting the legendary no. 7 shirt. Time to get my home kit personalize with J.Cole 7 Come in No. 7! Joe Cole heads for Liverpool and the legendary shirt of Keegan and Dalglish

| Change in number for RVP
If you look at Arsenal's official online store website, you'd see that RVP has requested for a number change. From 11 to 9?

On the subject number J.Cole is rumor to be given the no. 7 shirt However in the training he is spotted with another no. in his training kit. Does this mean he will swap number with Jovanovic

Liverpool Football Club are delighted to announce that Joe Cole has completed the formalities of his transfer.
The England international has passed his medical and has been allocated the squad No. 10.

I'm proud to wear the No.10 shirt. I'd have been proud to wear any Liverpool shirt, to be honest. When I was growing up we were just coming out of the era when Liverpool were winning titles on a regular basis, so I know all about it and I'll be proud to wear the shirt. It'll be strange to pull on the red shirt for a change but I'm looking forward to it and looking forward to being given time to settle in. I just want to help the team to do things.
Looks confirm J.Cole will take the no. 10. Steven you can resume your project 10 back for Liverpool kit

| I've also read all the conspiracy theories concerning Jovanovic intially being handed the no 10 to throw the scent off Liverpool's chase for Joe Cole's signature! Poor thing though Jovanovic, being handed the 10 and now being handed another number instead. I think I also read that Jovanovic was also quite 'proud' on being handed the 10... | |

| Yup. Jovanovic was initially handed the number. It is a shame.
Even the website have the kit with his name on it. My guess it would be remove now from the website.

| shirt is easy, but patched up....i have never seen any shops doing printing, apart from 1. That 1 shop only do Burrda NN, means the template font for letters and numbers with the Burrda logo on the number, which is not what players wear on the shirt, be it clubs or country. | |

| No official club shops? Normally that's where most of the club's official items are sold anyway. Don't mind owning a shirt donned by Cannavaro! Replica of course | |

World football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has declared that he wants Raul’s old No7 Real Madrid shirt.
The Portuguese international ace, currently Real’s No9, wore No7 at Manchester United and admits he wants to do so again this season.
“I would like to have the number ‘7′ shirt and I’m sure Raul would be happy if I had it because he knows how I am and how I think,” he said.
“Raul was always an important player to Real Madrid. He made the decision that best suited his interests. He is a great professional and I’m sure he will play at a very high level.”
