Its because zamorano was so desperate to wear no 9, which inter gave to O'Fenomeno instead. hehheehe

because he wanted no 9 but then ronaldo was there so no chance for him

pity zamorano... if my memory serve me right, he was using the no 9 until roberto baggio arrived. ronaldo handed baggio his no 10 and wanted no 9 instead, so inter forced zamorano to gave his number and offered him no 99. zamorano rejected and take 1+8.
