@koro..yeah..I am lucky I guess..it is his last piece after I lost out to someone during the auction the previous day..I manage to get him to sell it to me.. Cant really find it anymore in Singapore and some online stores

Shouldn't the extra protective layer on the "Adidas" and "OM" badges only be used on PI jerseys? I've never seen a replica with the layers on the inside of the shirt.. Any guides perhaps?

@vincek, this shirt comes with a protective layer even for a climacool. actually when we see a few pictures, we can see that those players wear climacool version of this jersey. not sure if this has anything to do with that or not, maybe they dun create formotion kit for this particular jersey at all? another question for treble_1999

Yeah it seems there is a problem with the amount of player stock kits created by Adidas this season. I know already on Ebay I have seen formotion player worn shirts of this type already. Maybe it is a case of Adidas or the kitroom having ran out and using replicas. This is a real possibility as already this season we have seen Bayern and Real Madrid using climacool replicas at times.
If you search Getty Images the formotion on the shirts is not clear becuase of the pattern however it can be seen on shirts that no Adidas hologram is present and that the shirt has sealed seams and plastic shoulder stripes so the players in the main have been using Formotion versions.

As this is the first time I got a code 7 shirt, can the pros here see if I got the real deal? The tag is sniped off leaving only the top part and it got me a little worried..is this a norm?

Are there other points of difference between a code 7 for this shirt and a replica other than the small black nike secruity tag..?

@Edward: I think I got it at a good price..just below 60GBP (including shipping) The seller told me its PI and the tag is also code 7 but as this is my first PI, i dun really know how to see if it is the real deal..ahah

it's PI kits alrite. absence of Nike security tag and code 7 confirms it. nice haul! how come seller sell it for GBP60 though? usually those Korean sellers sells PI for around GBP100...but good buy there!

Redsuns - Well that answers my question on whether it was a code7 shirt that I asked on your other thread as I thought the price was a bit high for a replica. I think the price is about fair for the code 7 version of this shirt. I wouldn't worry too much about the reason for thre tag being cut away. I think i know the reason for this. About 18 months-2 years ago Nike factory outlet stores in the UK had a big sale of old shirts. Some were replicas and some code7 PI shirts. Well this particular LS version was there and I managed to get a few of these for £5 each. These shirts turned into my PI Scholes(EPL), Giggs(EPL) and Saha(UCL) shirts in my gallery collection thread for about £25 each total in cluding and
I think the good chance is this seller has got the shirts from a UK Ebay seller, probably not as cheap as that but to rid the shirt tag of a £5 price tag he has to cut it. That is why I think you tag is part missing.
Again the only way to test if this shirt is PI truly is to check if there is no Nike security tag next to the wash label which I can see you have done and also the other thing is to sprinkle some drips of water onto the shirt. If it absorbs into the material eventually it is replica and if it does not and can run-off the shirt it is PI. You can't see any difference in the material to the naked eye. It is only a coating that is placed on the material to stop the players being soaked and weighed down with sweat or rain.
