| Top find there with that blue away kit, just a piece of advice with them is that they are being faked a lot at the moment, since some of the old Adidas kits use primitive anti-copy techniques. Also there is no such thing as reproduction Adidas United shirts as United will not give Adidas permission to use the club crest. Still a great find though!!! | |

That is not actually correct. Actually Adidas did a couple of years ago reproduce this blue away shirt and the Arsenal 89 away Anfield shirt. Botth were highly accurate reproductions but with Adidas logo and Sharp/JVC sponsors. The only thing missing was the club badge as it is actually Nike that prevent the release of those reproduction kits and not the club itself. The lack of badge stopped me buying the Man U away but my Adidas outlet store had plenty of them and they were almost identical to the original apart from the badge and inner neck tag. I beleiev some fakes got their hand s on some and added raised felt embossed badges to them.

| Oh that's informative thanks. I think mine should be an authentic piece coz the inner washing tag is accurate. | |

That's what I meant by there being no repro's, there are either the Adidas ones with no crest or the Score Draw ones with no Adidas/Umbro logo for any reproduced United shirts.

Patch position is personal preference but I don't think anything is really wrong with it. I would say it is probably better to be lower than n the shoulderblade

| I don't find anything wrong with the patch position actually, it feels nice at that position. I agree with treble, better to be just above my elbow than further up. | |
