Hi Not from last season - Rooney went from size x large to large throughout the season - Just like Ronaldo sometimes went from using large and sometimes wore x - large

Players shirts usually change sizes usually large to x large throughout season

i wouldnt be too concerned with size players size change depending on a number of factors

i usually wear a x large i have tried this shirt on in a large and it fits me fine

i got this from a good contact within the match worn field , And can confirm this come direct from a close contact

last seasons shirt was a baggy fit in player issue , more for the league version , if it was champs league it would have been a slimer fitting so i am guessing i dont have one Rooney would have wore a x large in the champs league version

If you look at pictures of Rooney from last season he looked more slimer then previous seasons!!!

Ahh, that should be the reason as the MW are all of from the champions league. No wonder it is XL.

And at the end of the day... it's still 1 size up for Nike & Adidas PI yeah?

With the Adidas techfit range i would say one or two sizes up

Depending on the version with Nike if its the champions league version i would say yes because they are more slimer fitting

But with the Man Utd league version i wear x large and this seasons x large fits me perfectly its just heat bonded seams and more tighter cutting in the sleeves

It depends how you like to wear your shirts and of course your body type!!

Yeah, it will be great if there are display ones in shops where we can actually try out... unfortunately, not from where I'm from...

So we gotta get it right or...doubt there'll be refund...

LAst day of the season 07/08 when United beat Wigan and Rooney threw his shirt into the ground...he was wearing Large. My mate caught it and I had it in my hands for about 5 minutes when he showed me it the last time i was in Manchester....

Did he wash it or leave it with the mud, sweat and all?

Lol jk. but large PI for that shirt in particular isn't big...in fact I think I would fit nicely into that PI large, and I usually wear M for that season's shirts, or S for last season and this season's.

Saw the West Ham vs Man U game just now, Roo definitely looks slimmer... couldn't be camera trick...


If he can lose his weight...I think I had better do something...
I will try to fit into a L size PI...make that my objective...

I tried noticing the gap between the end tip of the Nike swoosh and the mu crest. L sizes have a smaller gap while XL have a more bigger gap.
