i was shocked to see the result. an unbelievable turn around. well played spain. can south africa produce same tempo in their home ground?

Yes definitely a shocker, I had a vote for Spain to win the CC outright!

Another seed bites the dust, hence paving the way for discounted kits?

What a turn of result. No one would expect the USA to pull out a major surprise for a country where the sports is known as soccer. Kudos to them as they play to their straight and put pressure on the Spanish early on.

To be honest some of the Spanish player look abit tired after a long season notably Xavi, Alonso and Torres.

Even the top teams find it hard in the semis. Spain was knocked out by the United States while Brazil struggle to break down the host nation South Africa until the 88th minute striker from D. Alves.

I wouldn't want to say that Brazil will win hands down although they did beat them convincingly during the group phase. Some team find their feet at the latter stage of the competition. This looks to be the case with USA and South Africa.

USA would made more of a game this time I feel since this could be a good chance for them to lift their 1st Confederation Cup. So far their best finishing was 3rd place.
