i actually started collecting jerseys around the 2006 world cup. even though i had been following the sport for years, i never really got into buying and collecting jerseys as i couldn't afford them while i was a student and had other things to pay for after i graduated. so after the 06 world cup, i was lucky enough to have a steady job with income so i can afford such an expensive hobby.

as i've gotten older (i just turned 30!), i thought the collection would slow down and just be limited to usa, south korea, and man united jerseys (i'm a korean-american man united fan). but as you can see from my other thread in the "latest hauls" forum, it hasn't stopped!

It can never stop my friend. Slow down, probably yes..

BTW since you're in the states, you can check with one of our admins in the forum (wongkwp or Peter Wong) on any good places to shop for soccer jerseys at your country. He's currently residing in Sacramento, California.. To help you grow your collection even further more hehe..

its good u have a central theme to your collections (ie your united, korean and us theme) and that makes it more fun and challenging and more satisfying.

and ya as schmeichel7 said, maybe u can check out one of the admin here wongkwp to share experience? He is one of the master haulers here! haha

yea, when i bought it, i was a novice collector and didn't know any better.

even before i realized their reputation of selling fake printing, i vowed to never order again from them because it took about 3 months for my order to arrive.

nikys sports, onionbag, and soccernucleus are the three sites i use the majority of times. of the three, soccernucleus is probably the most expensive.
