My latest incoming of Italy national team kit!

I'm Ray. I just collect Italy national team jersey and I have about 350-400 jerseys. These are my latest "incoming".

The above jersey is so unique, I don't know whether it is official replica or match issue. Because the tag on the collar is different than what I used to have (which I had more than 15 jerseys like this). The match issue suppose to have the FIGC badge printed on the jersey like, the tag collar is suppose to be like the official replica's - printed on the collar as well, but this isn't. However, this tag on the collar seems more like a training jersey, but the seller confirmed to me that it isn't a training jersey. Maybe this is a prototype as well. Because I have four Italy prototype jersey - the World Cup version.

This jersey is unique as well. I have couple of this, but if you guys see carefully, the tag collar is in white color and most of you guys have in your collection is black collar tag. Trust me and check it out yourself. You will see the difference.

Pay attention to this jersey, this long sleeves jersey has one thing missing. See it? Ok....did you see that the Puma logo is missing on the left chest??? It is official replica, I checked it with all the identical jersey in my collection. Everything is the same, instead the logo itself.

Please be attention of few Italy home jerseys that I had for the Euro 2008 jersey. The Toni, De Rossi, Chiellini (forget about the Aquilani), this type of match issue was just an enhancement for its predecessor.

The new match issue jersey is not just merely with thermal bonding technology to "glue" the seams but it also sewn some stiches in places like the collar and end of both sleeves too. At first, I saw it on ebay but I'm not really sure of it, so I went to search for close up pictures of the players. I really noticed that there were stiches mark that sewn around the collar. Besides from that, the Italian flag that imprinted on the back of the collar was painted with glossy paint as well.

I'm giving a link below, be focus on the Italian flag on the back of the collar and the picture of the inner collar and the picture of the Euro 2008 patch that shows the sign of stiches on the end of the sleeves as well.

If any of you have the match issue version that bought from store or online store, it is easier for you to do the comparison of what you having and what is the "TRULY MATCH ISSUE". So, most of us having are just "MATCH ISSUE'S REPLICA".

Anyway, I the players do wear the original version for first few matches and given some negative feedbacks after playing with them, so Puma fixed the problem after that. They swtiched to this version during the friendly against Belgium in May, 2008.

See the difference? The Italian flag on the back collar?! The previous version is non-glossy and the latest version is glossy. And the gap between flag is obvious different!

Yesterday, I just added three more match issue jersey of mine.






and Italy away Euro 2008 Grosso jersey with the Euro 2008 and Respect patch from this seller. And it costs me 530 euro. It is like about RM 2,700 for three match issue jersey. Although it is a bit expensive, but I think it worth it.

I just made a deal with my source for getting me the laste Italy home and away World Cup 2010 Qualification match issue jersey that comes along with necessary and bages, like:

World Cup 2010 Qualification patch
A small patch (on the other sleeves, which I don't know what was it as it was to smallto see on TV).
World Cup Champion badge
Specific player name and number set

Well, it costs me 300 euro per piece, still maybe the price can be negotiable, but not much.

Despite from that, he also able to get me the Italy Beijing 2008 Olympic jersey. But, not sure how much is it going to be.

but IMHO, i think the badge isn't look well as good as FIGC's, any hi-res images for this badge?

the FIGC badge was removed during the olympic because of OIC's regulations. Same happend to all other teams (Brazil were whining at one stage that that move stripped them of their respect ie their "5 stars" honour wont appear) and for Adidas kits even the stripes were removed.

asprillialim, those Olympic kits available for retail? or is it like what they did at the Olympics ie physically stripped the badges etc? (this is the case for Adidas kits i know, not sure bout Italy / Puma kits though)

You can't say Puma physically stripped the badges. Well, actually when Puma the jersey, it is just a plain jersey without anything on it. Later on, they apply the Puma logo (printing, not rubber logo like replica). Then, put on the FIGC crest (Lextra). Then, name and number set.

But, as for Olympic jersey. They make the jersey and they apply the Puma logo, but they placed the wording of "ITALIA" and second row is tricolor of green, white and red instead of FIGC badge.

Currently, I don't think the Olympic kit is for retail store. But, I manage to get from my source. It is match issue.

As the answer for dexter, I can ask my source whether he has it. But, he roughly gave me the price for 300 euro but I haven't mention about the player that I want. But, if I buy in bulk, not necessary be bulk, maybe 3 or more jerseys than he could possibly be cheaper. But never giving high hopes because it is new jersey. They usually don't tend to sell cheap for new jersey. By the way, I'm getting the new Italy kit with the World Cup 2010 qualification patch and the World Cup Champion badge as well. Anyone interest? I believe the more I get from him, the cheaper he'll give me the price.

Woops. I got mail in my mail box. Perhaps my jerseys just arrived. But, my friend took it and he went it. I just called him and he told me I got two packages. Sure, those are my collection as well.

Just received 1977 Italy national team jersey that worn by Bennetti. But I just fly back to US today, so I won't be able to take the pictures because I left the jersey in Malaysia.

Yup. I came back to the States to settle some of my un-solve personal business. Anyway, just for about a month. After I get back, it will be all busy days for me but I will at least take sometime in weekend to organize my collection.

Coming weeks I will be holiday in China. Thus, I have some free time to upload my jerseys. I just washed some of the jerseys, I will take pictures from here and I will upload it while I'm doing nothing in China. Well, this is my latest victory which I just won last night.

Actually, this long sleeves is no ordinary long sleeves for me. I already had several long sleeves match issue just like this, but this one is special and one of a kind. It is because if you guys notice and the end of both sleeves, you guys can see that is has two gold fabrics at the end of both sleeves, which the fabric just same as like the collars. Well, this is what makes it so different. Previously, the long sleeves home version used has no fabrics like this at the end of both sleeves. It just started to use for the first time during the game against Sweden (friendly), and what makes it even more special is that Chiellini scored the winning goal!!!!
