Honestly I don't see there is any wrong for you to wear the pompey kit. Traditionally Pompey was never a closest rival to United as compare to Liverpool or Man City.

Nevertheless it's a great addition to your collection mate.

I thought they were only logger heads with Southampton?

I did own all 3 08/09 Portsmouth kits, which I might wear if the opportunity arises.
