| Nice haul man. Especially the 3rd kit with the Pacheco nameset. Hopefully he can feature more next season based from the rumors of limited budget on transfer. Also like the keeper kit. Nice to see you're available to get 2 Reina's kit. One in Europa League and UCL version. | |

| This is a "warm-up" addition tonight, prior to an important "star grade" addition annoucement to be made tomorrow. Liverpool 1992 FA Cup Final Commemorative Replica Shirt In 1992 The only Wembley Final Liverpool reached was the FA Cup Final against Sunderland in which they Won with goals from Dean Saunders and Michael Thomas. This was all the more special for 2 facts, Firstly that it was their Centenary year and also that the Liverpool manager of the time Graeme Souness was still recovering from successful Triple bypass heart surgery. This shirt refers to this cup final of 1992, Although it is not a shirt Liverpool wore in the Cup Final, During the Cup Final Liverpool wore a one-off hybrid red Home shirt, This is quite a rare shirt, as these aren't often seen and found in the open market. Im told that it was sold by Liverpool and Adidas in very small numbers when Liverpool reached the Cup Final. It was sold just through the Liverpool club shop at Anfield who have sold and continue to sell very rare shirts that are not sold anywhere else in the country, For example the 2001 commemorative shirts such as the FA Cup Winners and Worthington Cup Winners shirts were sold in Long Sleeve versions in the club shop only, the short sleeve versions were available elsewhere around the country and are seen often but the long sleeves were and are extremely rare due to the small numbers in which they were sold, This shirt is also part of that rare tradition. | |

| Subject: Liverpool 2009-2010 Champions League Away & Third Gerrard Match Supplied Shirts Fri Jun 18, 2010 9:32 am | |
| Here's an update due to an undue delay of my contact. Here we go. Liverpool 2009-2010 Away UEFA Champions League Match Supplied Shirt of Steven Gerrard Curator's verdict: Certainly you guys may immediately say, "Hey, the black kit was never used in Champions League!". Right, we were knocked out at group stage of UEFA Champions League too early in season 2009-2010 and thus had no chance to put this on against Champions League opponents. Rather we used this black away kit in the UEFA Europa League 2009-2010 away legs in quarter final (against Benfica) and semi final (against Atletico Madrid). However, this DOES NOT mean a black Champions League is wrong. In fact, our club did badge up shirts for different purposes before the start of season 2009-2010 (pre-season friendlies, English Premier League, and of course UEFA Champions League then). Hence our club did keep up some black EU away match shirts badged up in UEFA Champions League specification, this Gerrard shirt is one of them. Liverpool 2009-2010 Third UEFA Champions League Match Supplied Shirt of Steven Gerrard Curator's verdict: Unlike the aforesaid one, the white third UEFA Champions League player shirt was worn by Liverpool in the 2009-2010 campaign. THIS IS NOT YET THE END..... | |

| Right mate, there are quite numerous bad-luck away shirts in our history, if we believe in such myths. The famous one is the green away 91-92 shirt, which I have heard that we never won a single match wearing it. But to me every player shirt is essential to acquire as they represent part of the history of our club. More importantly I am a completionist. STAY TUNED FOR NEXT UPDATE TURNING UP WITHIN NEXT 10 DAYS. OLD VINTAGE STUFF SHOULD BE DISPLAYED IN THIS THREAD, ONE OF THEM BEING A 37 YEARS OLD SHIRT - A ONE-OFF MATCH SHIRT DATED BACK TO THE YEAR 1973. | |

| Again, this addition is only a prelude to vintage shirts addition.... Here we have... Liverpool 1986-1987 Third "Double Winners" Player Stock Shirt (rarer single-lined Crownpaints version) In 1985 Liverpool changed their kit manufacturer after a long association with Umbro. The new kit supplier was Adidas and the new kit was actually in use at the end of the 1984-85 season for the fateful Heysel European Cup Final. The first Adidas Liverpool home kit was plain red with the three Adidas stripes in white on the shoulders and the sides of the shorts. The stripe effect also carried on through the V-neck of the shirt along with the end of the sleeves, The club sponsors remained Crown Paints. The sponsors logo was written on one line at first but it changed in the second season, written on two lines so it became larger (and easier to see on a TV screen). The shirt badges upon the replica shirts are an embossed material where as they would have been fully stitched upon the players issue shirts, a trend that has been seen through the majority of Liverpool shirt since. The away strip returned to white and black in the first season with Adidas (although all-white was used almost as often). However, in 1986-87 the away kit reverted to all-yellow with red trim as shown here, the yellow shirt sported red cuffs on the long sleeves shirts and a red trim on the end of the sleeves of the short sleeved shirt along with three red stripes along the tops of the shoulders, The Liver bird badge as well as the Adidas badge stayed red as on the previous white away shirt. Although this shirt would have been produced at a time when the shirt was going through a transition period, The Crown Paints did not feature on a single line past the end of the 1985-86 season, at the time of the 86 Cup Final, However, This yellow shirt was produced for the 1986-87 season, the season after the Cup Final, Hence, this shirt must of been produced immediately after the Cup Final of 86 and just prior to the decision to place the Crown Paints logo on two lines for the following 86-87 season. This Shirt was Produced to Commemorate the 1986 League Championship and FA Cup double and features similar commemorative badge lettering and placement as to that of the 1986 FA Cup Final shirt. | |
