ive heard rumours that RM wanted to get Arbeloa for 8 Mill . which i think its ok due to the fact we got it for 3 or 4 Mill. mayb with the funds available could get G. Johnson;) no way ALONSO is leaving unless RM made a huge sum on the table

I do not think it will happen, even if Liverpool is in dire need of cash. Really cannot see that Benitez will approve this, especially after SAF refused to sell Heinze to Liverpool even though the player has agreed to go to Anfield. Cannot imagine how the supporters will be reacting if it's true.

Haha torres to man u? No way... I never did like ronaldo because of his attitude. I only have 1 man utd ronaldo jersey. So ronaldo won't be on the top of my Madrid kit hehe but raul always is

Yeah read the story about Torres earlier today. Although he is a bit to injury prone for his price tag a fully fit Torres would be perfect for Man U but it will never happen. Can you imagine the fury of Benitez just now if a bid came in? Sound like SAF is trying to stir him up again

I think it wil be a good case of Spanish loyalties.

Let get in perspective, how many Spanish players are in the Man Utd squad whereas Liverpool has a host of both players and coaches.

Furthermore, Torres is one of the few Spanairds that have succeeded in the EPL where many have come and failed.

And I cite 2 great examples:
- Fernando Morientes
- Diego Tristan

I don't think we'd need a history lesson on what these 2 strikers could do and were doing back in the Primera Liga before moving to the English game.

I dont think Torres would move to United. It is like asking him to move to Real due to his club sentiment.
