yeah thought thats how you got it, with your gf's connection haha! While i was watching the Asian Cup in Doha last year, many of the Korean fans wore the PI kits as well, the ones sold in a bottle. i bet they are commonly available in Korea.

Oh you lucky duck, did you watch the final? Yeah I think it's a much bigger market in Asia. The ones released in Korea were probably PIs, unlike the other limited edition box sets. Japan is the same, you can buy the Techfit or Formotion versions of the national team kit and have them patched up as well as match day transfers. I guess there's just not enough interest elsewhere.

Thanks The national team kits I got last year are all size M and they were all home kits. And from time to time if my acquaintance sends me a PI Nike shirt she'd send one in size M,

Just a small update on the previous posting.

The Corinthians shirt is different from other Nike club shirts this season in that the Nike logo and the club crest are screen printed. I've only seen the PI national team kits done this way from Nike for this season.



The saying behind the crest is in Portuguese, I think it's "tu es orgulho" but I have no idea what that means. May need some translation help

Screen printed logo and crest which differs from replica, and I think the positioning of the front number is quite nice.

The message behind the crest is "DTOM" which stands for "Don't Tread On Me". I have to admit I'm a closet USA fan when it comes to World Cups. Simply because they've always been the underdogs, much like Australia, and have had to fight hard to earn respect from the more established footballing nations. This message embodies that fighting spirit.

And lastly, this is not a very interesting detail but I felt that the shirt was a little bit different when worn compared to the other ones I've got. It turns out that the shirt has bigger and longer sleeves. I compared it with all the other PI shirts and as you can see there's quite a bit extra. Maybe Americans have bigger arms?



Anyway that's all I have. I did have a couple of other new additions, but I think I will end up selling them anyway so I didn't put them up here as they're not for my collection per se.

Nice Donovan shirt I dont mind the USA football team either they play some nice football and I find the players are really more grounded then European guys I myself have interacted with Holden & Dempsey on FB

thats a lovely USA third kit there. Apparently the PI for the third kit is commercially available in the US, as i know WorldSoccerShop does sell it.

It's actually a phase that is on Corinthians' Anthem.

Thanks for pointing that out Brendan! It'd be good if Australia followed suit. Although I had a look at the Brazil and France authentic kits at Rebel and they were selling for $199.

They have authentic Nike shirts in Rebel? I highly doubt theres any in Adelaide though. just some normal replica for AU$140

Rebel? serious? i nvr encounter an authentic PI kit b4. except special case where me and Brendan stumble across the slovakia WC kit

There's a Nike section within the Rebel store in Sydney's Pitt St Mall. They sold the limited edition box sets during the World Cup too, but at $300 a box they didn't sell too many They have the widest range of Nike football gear that I know of.

I've never been to the Nike store in Melbourne but I'd assume it would have them too.

guess what i just checked the Rebel sports here. Dont mention the Authentic, the replica for Brazil and France isnt even in yet pathetic.

my first time entering the shop this year i think. I mean...when their discount price is still AU$80 at the very lowest, basically only those who dont know what internet is will buy jerseys there. Or any other sports shop here.

I went to the Rebel in Pitt St Mall to get the Australia printing done. I'd normally go to Mick Simmons down the road because it's only $5 there, but Mick Simmons' heat press is so old that the temperature is a bit crap and may mess up your name and numbers.

Other than that yeah, only the average Joe would buy kits at Rebel and get them printed [for $40!!!!].

The only shop that have heat press machine is a local SA family owned called Bailetti Sports. Compared to rebel, they have a bit more variety of shirts (though price is still the same) and when it comes to discount, just recently they had a AU$50 clearance sell on some of their past season shirts. The printing they have are limited to A-League, EPL and Australia shirts NN only.

Really if i were to set up a NN and badges business here in Adelaide, i have virtually no competitors! Heck i can buy shirts from Kitbag, sell them by 50% more and the price is still lower than the RRP in Australia by nearly a whole $50.

There's a few stores in Sydney that can provide printing but the prices are just extortionate, but only because there's only 1 sole distributor for Sporting iD, Stilscreen, Sipesa etc and they mark their prices up through the roof. http://efn.com.au/ I've been told they are the sole distributor for Australia.

And yes I've lost count how many times I think about setting up a kit business of my own! But the problem is that when it comes down to supplies you can't bypass Nike, Adidas or Puma and the buy price is already a lot higher than most countries, so you'll be forced to sell at $130-$140 if you wanted to make a profit.

Are they any good with pressing, how much do they charge? They're pretty far though, all the way in Parra. Does Peter Wynn charge a flat rate for pressing service? Or is the $2.50 per letter is for EPL sets? 90% of the time I would have my own nameset so basically I just need them to press it on and I don't fancy paying $10 at Rebel to do it.

I've been seriously thinking about buying a decent heat press off eBay to do my own printing since a machine is about $300 - $400 and I will be spending more than that on kits in the future anyway.
