Haha good spot there... well he has to learn about dealing with mind games and not letting it get the better of him. But i feel they lost this tie because of benitez played to freely and let chelsea control their midfield.

totally agree with u bro bout that one.. benitez shud shut the hell up from now onwards and stop playing lucas leiva in a game where midfield battle is the key to win the game..

I think he is digging his heals in over Lucas and trying to show his authority to the fans. Most fans cannot understand why he continues to get a game so much and it is so obvious to Benitez his unpopularity amongst the fans but he keeps playing him. In these circumstances he is prety much ahnging the player out to dry and it is not good management with his still being young. Every mistake is grabbed onto by the crowd who wuickly goes on his back. There is a way to manage and nurture young players and I think Benitez is showing himself up very poorly in this respect

can't agree more on how Lucas seems to be still getting games in EPL. Like how Arsenal's Denilson, Diaby or Eboue is also the same case.

i guess gerrard had groin injury... thats y thoughout the game he seems quiet... now we have to wait for his news..

but liverpool still need to pay attention to ivanovic...that guy scored 2 crucial for chelsea....

The way we employ the zonal marking it is bound that we concede those kind of goal that Ivanovic scored. I think this is the 1st time we concede a goal from zonal marking after a long period of time but what an crucial period to concede this kind of goal.

Still can't take away that Chelsea play well and was well deserve their victory although it is a difficult to admit. It is definitely a tall order for us to get through to the semis but most reds will point out to Istanbul spirit.

that's the problem with zonal marking... that's why most of the managers doesnt really prefer it... i think it happened several times for liverpool before,,, such as the game againts arsenal last 2-3 seasons... gerrard and riise blaming each other after they conceeded a goal...

i'm thinking a 3-3 draw for united away to porto... hahaha... :p
