Dissapointed with the outcome despite the win. should have killed off the tie already with at least a 2-0 or 3-0 score. Arsenal didnt look like scoring at all. the only chance was bendtner's header which was not even close. I am getting very annoyed with ronaldo's antics. he goes down to easily. its just annoying. its a nice game to watch especially u could say man utd dominated all the scoring chances. it could have been 3 or 4 goals for man utd. credits given to almunia has he made a string of wonderful saves like from tevez and ronaldo chances. Il be surprised to see how man utd and ars gona change their lineup for upcoming EPL matches as they will have to keep all key players for next tues 2nd leg.

| i think they will rest key players for the next epl match..maybe on the bench...but MU can't complacent..although they lead 3points with a game in hand..Liverpool can still catch them..UCL i think they will protect their 1-0 lead..as scholes said as long as they go to the final.they dun mind play the ugly way.. | |

| can't agree more, United should have killed the tie off. But too bad both Tevez and Ronaldo effort was too close to Almunia.
I was dreading when i saw O'shea starting but hell yah...his strike is very good. But still his movement seems to be a bit slowmo lah...hahaa

| But i have to admit.... o'shea was preety decent in defence as well as going forward. I think Arsenal will rest their players a they are more or less quite safe from astonvilla and everton for the last CL spot. Man utd cant afford to rest that much but i am sure they will. Boro will be a hard game as they are fighting for relegation | |

| Well a great night for Man U spoiled just there by an absolutley diabolical refereeing decision. Feel so sorry for Fletcher, great tackle and to get a red for that | |

| Arsenal 1 Man utd 3 stong display from Man Utd.Arsenal were never in the game.. fabregas was shut down so well that there was nobody to pull the strings for arsenal.. THe early double blow ended the tie prematurely.... but poor fletcher... i can understand that refs get wrong decisions sometimes. but why the hell cant the red card be appealed? why sometimes you can sometimes you can't why is that so? Fletcher deserve to be in the final.. the decision was so wrong.. . | |

| I just can't even begin to understand the referees decision there as from TV replays you can see the massive change in direction on the ball that can only come from Fletcher's tackle. The rule about not being able to appeal the red card says it all about Platini's organisation | |

| man utd pushed arsenal in attack and from what i see, today's arsenal is not anywhere near their peak performance. their midfield players gave too much space to man utd players. sorry for the fans but man utd controlled the whole game from start till finish. congrates for reaching final | |

| Well, hope this will be another reason to spur Man Utd on to win the cup, by winning they not only beat Barca/Chelsea, but beat the stupid system as well. Hope the lads can go on and win the trophy for Fletcher! | |

| Arsenal were out-gunned by the best in the business.
It would be interesting to see a Man Utd vs Chelsea final again.
More so, if Man Utd can be the first repeat Champion in the new CL format since 1991.
The last time it was achieved was by AC Milan: 1989 - 1990 AC Milan 1988 - 1989 AC Milan
And, the last English team to do so was Nothingham Forest: 1979 - 1980 Nottingham Forest FC 1978 - 1979 Nottingham Forest FC
Time to re-write the history books!

The rule that dont allow players to appleal is real bullshit. i hope this put pressure on platini to do something

| Reasons why i prefer MU meeting Barca (no offense to Chelsea fans who wants their team to go final again)
- The ultimate test to see which trio is the best, Rooney Ronaldo Berbatov or Messi, Eto'o, Henry - MU vs Che again? - If MU were to lose, losing to Barca is not as worse as losing to Chelsea, coz more Chelsea fans than Barca out there (means more tauntings) - Chance to see MU play using white kit against Barca, the 1 and only time they will use the white kit in this season's UCL

If it is a MU-Barca final, Rooney Ronaldo Berbatov vs Messi, Eto'o, Henry will be less important then VDS-Evra-Rio-Vidic-Neville vs Valdes-Alves-Marquez-Pique-Puyol

| I got a feeling it gonna be Chelsea again. Hopefully we will kill off the game better than how we did a year ago.
Marquez already out for the season while Puyol is not such a great defender after all. So Barca back four isn't as forminable as United.
actually, i am more excited to see the final jersey seh...! with that final embroidery together with that beautiful WCC patch...wohoo!!!

| Chelsea 1 Barca 1
2 cracking volley goals... poor chelsea.. they defended so well barcelona was knocking on the door for a very long itme. although i think that was thier only shot on target for the whole match iniesta made it count. Again the referee made a stupid decision by sending of abidal, this time even worst no contact at all and the ref had a clear sight. Well i guess we get to see man utd wear the white kit after all

| not only the sending off was wrong, the clear handball by Pique was also not spotted. Again with referee's stupid mistakes...there's always 1 every match, don't they..
but again, Barca played like....Arsenal (no offense). I would be happy if Barca were to play like this against MU, and give defensive errors that often to Rooney or Ronaldo.

| Well now a chance for Man U to wear the white UCl shirt.
Back to the game though. Chelsea to me suffer from becoming too negative a team under Hiddink. They have no width, no creativity and their whoel game plan is mostly play it long and high to Drogba. Over the 2 legs Barca probably deserve it without ever playing well as they were the only side looking to play football. Referee again with some poor decisions but the actions of certain Chelsea players were disgraceful. Long UEFA bans coming up for Drogba, Cech, Terry and Ballack I think.

| No Abidal, Alves, Marquez. But United shouldn't be too cocky. Look at what Barca did to Chelsea. All they ever needed was a single shot on goal to end the tie.
Ian, so the white kit huh...any guess whats the embroidery colour would be like...still gold?
but the WCC patch kinda blend in with this white kit. Any chance Barca will be wearing their luminous yellow one while United wear blue...?
