| It is a spectacular match to watch but not too good for the heart. We nearly get the tie back to our own hands but credit to Chelsea keep on plugging back and get back themselves back into the tie. Judging the way Chelsea defending it would be a tough task against Barca in the semis. However with Terry back into the team he will strengthen the backline.
Overall the team did us proud last night. It shows that we could score freely and now our focus attention would be the league.

| yea twice you guys got back into the game 0-2 and 2-3.. Good match to see from an entertaining point of view but if we are saying who stand a chance. i would say neither base on their defending. Barca will overwhelm either liv or chelsea if they defend link that. hope its stright forward for the man utd match today. the chelsea liv match nearly killed me as i had money on the line. | |

| honest i really proud with LFC. they showed attacking style, but dont have the luck this season. as a LFC fan, sadly cannot go through semi final..maybe next season? but as a soccer fan, i would to see the new champions this season.. have 3 clubs didnt win ucl yet. chelsea, arsenal and villarreal..could be chelsea vs arsenal / villareal in the final? | |

| Porto 0 Man utd 1( man utd trough on aggregate 2-3) Arsenal 3 Villarreal 0 (Arsenal go through on aggregate 4-1)
tough game for man utd. Although porto were limited most of the time to shots outside the box. Porto always look like they were going to get a goal late in the game when the urgency of the game went up. Personally the introduction of nani was a step backwards. He couldn't attack and sure as hell couldn defend. i wonder why he was put in... he should have put tevez in if he wanted some steel. But ronaldo's goal was crazy... wasn't all that powerfull but the curl on it was wicked.
Again cant comment much on Arsenal game but looking at the statistic 3 shots on target and a red card... Arsenal wasn't pushed to the limit. Good for them as they have chelsea on the weekend.
that sums it up Semi 1 Barca v Chelsea Semi 2 Arsenal v Man Utd.
again 3 english team in the semi Finals.. English game has been dominating europe for the pass years i would say. With 5 consecutive years an english team will be in the final and winning 2 out of the 4 years( not counting this year). The Italians especially have not been up to it in these past year... i belive thx to their love for old players.

| Good result for Man U. The tie made more difficult than it really should have been by a very poor performance in the 1rst game. I would disagree that late on Porto looked like they were going to get a goal. For a quarter final UCL away from home I think it is one of the most comfortable performances I have seen. I thought with Rio and Vidic back they never looked like conceeding | |

| i agree Rio-VIda were preety comfortable but i was worried of o'shea and nani(when he is covering for evra). There were a couple of square balls that were preety dangerous. I would believe that alot of those balls could be prevented. | |

| yeah i admit he did more tracking back and defending today. although it was kinda funny as each time he tries to go into a tackly he ends up hurting himself.... hahaha but i dont agree with edward on long range shooting. yes he is capable of scoring from far but the chances of entering is not that high... i would rather he try to move inside the box... but again its up to the situation. As of now he has a great mix of runs inside the box to score and long range. | |

| barca 0 Chelsea 0
Good result for chelsea as barcelona was attacking all the way controling posession from the start. Chelsea manage to come out with a draw and. i think chelsea can get a result in stmford bridge.

| A scoreless draw doesn't mean that Chelsea have a huge advantage. I would say that the tie is nicely poise for the 2nd leg at Stamford Bridge. If any evidence of Chelsea's defense in the Liverpool clash, Barca would be encouraged by it as a scored draw would see them progressing. | |

| its not a huge advantage but then it is quite a big 1. Playing home gives the extra edge on teams. IF they dont repeat their defensive faults. I think Chelsea might be able to pull it off. But in reality its preety much still a 50 50 tie | |

| I think the 0-0 draw is not a great result for Chelsea. Now Chelsea will actually have to come out and not defend which will aloow Barca alot more space then they got last night. | |

| but they couldnt expect for more.... i think its a good result going to barca and getting a draw. of course every1 would like a win or an away goal. Barca will also have to come out and attack. they wouldn want to drag the game to the penalties with the amount at stake, la liga and copa del ray. | |

| Yeah, but Barca will attack home or away and the more space they have the more dangerous they are. With Chelsea having to commit more men to attack at home it will leave so much space for Barca to exploit. Chelsea really made very little attempt to get an away goal last night which would have helped them so much. SAF never really likes to get a 0-0 away from hom in the first leg as he knows how dangerous a result it is without the away goal so that is why Man U will never really sit for a 0-0 away from home. | |

| thats true but i guess hiddink belive that they will have more chance to win it in stamford bridge then risking it in nou camp. all in i still belive that barca still has the edge but they have a very shakey defence for the return leg wiht marquez out. | |

| Man utd 1 Arsenal 0 Dissapointed with the outcome despite the win. should have killed off the tie already with at least a 2-0 or 3-0 score. Arsenal didnt look like scoring at all. the only chance was bendtner's header which was not even close. I am getting very annoyed with ronaldo's antics. he goes down to easily. its just annoying. | |
