haha chiil bro.. as a REDs fan i hope its true and being boosted by current games lately and benitez commitment to the club. everything seems to be brighter i guess chelsea are more afraid than us to face them ..but it has to depend on anfield performance at 1st leg

as a Man Utd fan, i am estatic. if beat Porto, the toughest opponent will be Arsenal, definitely easier than any other team that may qualify for Semi from the other side of the dray (Liv, Che, BM, Barca)

@Bam, not necessarily. If meet BM or Liv, then will wear the blue kit. if meet Che, still can wear red. if meet Barca, then can wear white!

If meet Bayern, can still wear red. Bayern's euro kit (white) is their designated 'home' kit for UCL.

Once again we were drawn against Chelsea in the spell of 4 years. It definitely be a battle of nerves I would say as both club know each other really well. With Hiddink guiding Chelsea it would prove to be a tough clash with his past experience with PSV. Definitely advantage would be on Chelsea as they have home advantage on the 2nd leg.

the title is definitely for MU to lose...with Liverpool having done the double against MU, only by defeating them in the final could soften the blow.

but Chelsea looks a different side with Essien in it. They definitely missed his presence from the centermid...

LIVERPOOL Vs MAN UTD for the finals...!!!

Man Utd play the first leg at home and the same goes for the semis as well..so it is not going to be an easy ride for man Utd after all..and if they do make it to the final, man Utd will be classified as the away team..

From the previous games, it can be assumed that the Liv Che both 1st and 2nd leg is goin to be very boring and tight.

I'm more interested with the Barcelona Bayern game. The game for the quarters IMO. The clash of Messi and Ribery is jus mouthwatering. My money is going to be on Barcelona..

its not an easy for Arsenal,back to group stage,Villarreal behind Man utd in Group E, Home and Away vs Man Utd with draw results,and u guys must still remember how Diego Lopez form on the both game,key player should be Villarreal famous striker G.Rossi,this player cannot stop from scoring.SO I WILL GO FOR VILLARREAL.

MAN UTD VS PORTO
can man utd take 2003/04 revenge back,when Man utd defeat by this Dragon underdogs team who lead by jose mourinho in round of 16, the Dragons finally become UCL 2003/04 champions,but for sure i think man utd capable to going thru semifinal as champions holders.I'M Red Devils Fan so i will vote them to semifinals.

LIVERPOOL VS CHELSEA
another english clash,i think Liverpool look more dangerous in this stage,with the great past game results which big margin winnings again Real Madrid and Man Utd means they are absolutely ready against Chelsea,its unfair for me but i must tell Liverpool will going thru semifinals.

BARCELONA VS BAYERN MUNCHEN
both of them really strong,both of them have capable player that i really admire,but looking from current form i will vote for BARCA.but i think this is the most best clash on 2008/09 QTR FINALS

I would have to echo the comment made by Macca in Football Forecast. It looks like United quest of a Quintuple is on with the passage of their draw. Sorry no disrespect to Porto but they are definitely one of the weaker side left in the competition. I would expect United to progress through to the semis and take on either Arsenal or Villarreal.

Bayern and Barca clash itself is a worthy final with 2 giants of European football. With the attacking talents from both side such as Messi, Eto'o Henry, Xavi, Ribery, Toni & Schweinsteiger I would expect it to be a spectacle football to watch.

just imagine is Barca had drawn Liverpool while Bayern against Chelsea. The possibility of an all English Semi final man...!

yeah and not to forget that time Porto one of underdog team who win the champions league,i still remember when they have deco as one of their key player
